My Albanian friend Renis taught me how to make this in college. I love Savory Albanian French Toast because it’s cheap ($3 for two people), easy, and delicious!

This goes well with some homemade breakfast sausage or some cuban coffee!

Instructions
  1. In a shallow dish wide enough to fit a slice of bread (I use a Tupperware) scramble the eggs and milk together. Add the feta and stir to combine well.
  2. Place the butter in a large frying pan on medium high heat to melt.
  3. Dip each slice of bread, one at a time into the egg mixture, pressing down so some feta crumbles get stuck to the bread. Flip and press down on the other side, so bot sides are coated.
  4. Let any excess egg drip off and place in the hot pan. Repeat until all bread is coated and egg and feta mixture is used up.
  5. Flip the toasts so that each side gets browned and crispy. Sprinkle some feta on top to serve and enjoy!
