Cajun Blackening Seasoning
Ingredients
- 1 Teaspoon Paprika
- 1/2 Teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/4 Teaspoon Thyme
- 1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
- 1/4 Teaspoon Brown Sugar This will help the seasoning to caramelize and blacken when cooking
- 1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1/4 Teaspoon Mexican-style Chili Pepper this has a slightly smokier flavor than regular chili powder, but that can also be substituted
- 1/4 Teaspoon Cumin
- 1/4 Teaspoon Sage

Instructions
Measure all of the ingredients into a bowl and stir to combine. Or, if you don't want to clean a bowl, dump it all into a plastic bag and shake to combine.
