Pepperoni Pizza Rolls are one of my favorite camping treats. I like to prep them ahead and just throw them on the fire to heat up. For just over $6 these are always a delicious handheld hit!

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven according to the directions on the crescent rolls. Open and unroll one can of the crescent rolls on an un-greased baking sheet.
  2. Taking one roll at a time stretch the dough out a little, just using your hands to press it a little bigger onto the pan.
  3. Spoon about 1 Tablespoon of pizza sauce into the center of the triangle, spreading toward the edge.
  4. Place about 10 pepperonis on top of the sauce, overlapping them in a triangle, leaving the dough edge uncovered so you can seal the roll.
  5. Cut the cheese sticks in half and place a half cheese stick in the center of the long pointy end of the crescent roll. Grabbing the dough, roll it up and pinch the edges closed, sealing the roll into a log.
  6. Place on the baking sheet and repeat until all rolls are made.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the pizza rolls are golden brown. If taking camping, wrap in a foil pouch to throw on the fire for easy heating!

I have also made these with some cooked ground breakfast sausage and they were just as delicious! Just sprinkle the ground sausage over the sauce instead of pepperoni and follow the rest of the recipe!
